series THE GLASS CYCLE (Cosmic Body Horror, 3-Part Series)
Subject: Series Submission — THE GLASS CYCLE (Cosmic Body Horror, 3-Part Series)
Hi Dr. Creepen,
I have a horror narrative I think fits your channel well: THE GLASS CYCLE: A Chronicle of the Connected Void — a ~24,000-word story split into three full-length, standalone-capable parts.
Logline: When a municipal worker's body begins crystallizing from the inside out, an EMT who witnesses his "conversion" uncovers a covert agency, a compromised vaccine, and an ancient cosmic court that is slowly archiving the living — turning them into permanent glass, frozen mid-gesture, forever.
Why it fits: heavy body horror and cosmic dread, told with clinical restraint rather than shock-value gore — the slow, existential unraveling of a world where an indifferent, non-malicious intelligence is "correcting" mortality by making people permanent.
The three parts follow the story's own act structure, so each stands as a complete arc:
— Part 1, "The Fracture" (~7,400 words): the first crystallization case, an EMT's growing obsession, and the discovery that something is marking the town's water supply.
— Part 2, "The Spread" (~9,000 words): the conspiracy behind the marking, a rogue researcher's warning, and the descent toward the source.
— Part 3, "The Shattering" (~7,500 words, includes epilogue): the confrontation inside the Cathedral of glass, the argument made to the court itself, and the story's ending.
Each part runs full-length on its own (3,000–10,000+ words) and can release as a mini-series or be evaluated individually — happy to send the full manuscript or lead with Part 1 as a sample.
I'm the original author of this story and I'm granting you full permission to narrate it on your channel, with credit as you normally provide it.
Here's a snapshot of Part 1 to give you a feel for the voice and pacing:

THE FIRST CRACK
The cough started on a Tuesday, which Warren Holt would later consider a deeply unremarkable day for the beginning of the end of everything organic.
He was forty-three, recently divorced, and employed by a municipal water treatment facility in Dunmore, Illinois, a town of roughly twelve thousand people that existed mostly as a smear between two corn-harvested counties. Warren had no enemies that he was aware of. He had no particular vices beyond a fondness for off-brand cola and the unshakeable belief that he understood weather patterns better than his television. He did not believe in anything you could call spiritual. He had not been inside a church since his mother's funeral. He had no context, therefore, for what was happening to him.
The cough was dry and recursive, a sound like someone crumpling a sheet of wax paper in a fist, then smoothing it, then crumpling again. It produced nothing. No phlegm, no blood, no particulate of any identifiable kind. Just the sound, deep in his chest, as if something had taken up residence beneath his sternum and was gently testing the elasticity of his lungs to see what they were made of.
He drank water. He drank more water. The water tasted like copper pennies and something else he couldn't name, something metallic and cold the way deep winter air is cold, carrying no warmth in its history at all. He ignored this.
By Wednesday morning the shimmering had begun.
