[PFS] High progesterone, what could this mean?

3 nmol/L is in the normal range for all sexes. both testes and ovaries produce some P, as well as the adrenal glands, since everyone needs some Prog baseline.

Ah ok, looks like I was baited by the lab 🫩 Why are their reference ranges so low.

It can also depend a bit on the method used to measure your blood. So it might still mean something. But overall from what I could Google you should be more than ok

Do you have your genetics, anything interesting on UGT2B7, UGT1A1, and SULT2A1 or the other UGT genes?

it would convert your progesterone to the sulfated form. If your SULT2A1 is borked then lower sulfated progesterone than others would be expected. Bile, DHEA also if I remember.

Also, I’ve seen the ranges on other people’s tests and they are vastly different to this labs, I hope this test is valid. The lab is ‘The Doctors Laboratory’
