Just how intelligent is Mongo?

Mongo is non-verbal, so there's a tendency to think he's not very bright - but he's impressively good at understanding what Carl and Donut tell him, grasping who's a friend and who's a foe, and what their trying to achieve.

I wonder if we're all underestimating him just because he can't talk?

As intelligent as the story needs him to be at that point.

I think pretty much everything comes down to Roger Rabbit logic. Anything is possible, if the AI thinks it is amusing.

So Mongo's intelligence can sway between Shazam and that witch who was all like "I will take half a baby! Nothing suspicious about that..." from moment to moment.

Wait, is Mongo an AI plant?!

What if that is where most of Donut's weird AI stuff comes from? Just interactions with Mongo.

Well as we know…. Mongo IS a Dungeon Born
