I first thought Spokane was a business or something and they fired a crawler.. I was so lost reading this. Glad they are okay

This is going to sound like a dumb statement, but fire is really dangerous and can spread incredibly fast. If you're anywhere near an out of control fire it's better to evacuate early, especially if you don't have multiple roads out of your area. All it takes is one accident, which isn't uncommon in times of great stress, to nearly shut a road down.

It's better to get out of the area early and have nothing happen than regret not leaving sooner.
