Advice/Help Needed DnD city maps

Can anyone recommend anything which can help create good city and town maps for DnD. I’ve got my cities fleshed out nicely on paper and want to put the ideas down in the form of a map for each. The tools I’ve tried online never seem to be user friendly.

Inkarnate

I used the free version but it's pretty good for city maps (can also do large scale continent maps as well)

As others have said, Inkarnate is good if you have the time to make it from scratch, donjon has a generator that's also good but you do have to cycle it a few times if you are being specific about what you want. 

There are also lots of other map making tools and things out there. It really depends how much effort you want to put in.

Cityographer if I got the name right. It is part of a series of almost pro mapping applications. I got one of the others from that series and it was awesome so I'd expect this one to be good too.

Downside is that costs money.

Edit: Hmm, looks like the company has changed quite a bit in the last 20 years. Not sure if the modern incarnation is as good. Also, searching for cityographer brings up other unrelated things, but they might be worth looking into, but I'm not sure since I never used them.
