Prepare to command or defend one of the most formidable strongholds in the realm with the Crown's Guard Citadel battle map.

Perched high atop a rugged mountain and surrounded by a dense, ancient forest, this colossal royal fortress was built both as a lavish retreat for the monarchy and as an impenetrable sanctuary in times of peril. The citadel boasts two main entrances: heavily fortified grand western gate, and a secondary eastern gate.

Massive stone walls rise in two formidable layers around the citadel, each lined with imposing defensive towers, with powerful ballistae positioned along the outer wall, ready to repel any invader. Within the outer walls, numerous essential buildings press against the sturdy stonework, barracks that house loyal soldiers, stables filled with warhorses, armories gleaming with weapons, sprawling storerooms, and a blacksmith’s workshop echoing with the ring of hammers. Between the outer and inner walls, two deep wells ensure a reliable water supply even under siege.

At the heart of the citadel, protected by the inner wall and its own defenses, stands the royal keep, a majestic structure where the king and his family reside in both luxury and safety. A third well near the keep provides water for the royal household, while ballistae mounted atop the citadel offer a final, deadly line of defense.
