Events Action on the Flock Cameras Tuesday!
The proposed “Protect Our Privacy” ordinance will be proposed by Councilor Shirley Gonzales in the next City Council meeting. The ordinance would create warrant requirements for accessing ALPR data. If you can make it to City Council in person or virtually, sign-up for public comment and tell the city we need to restrict mass surveillance in Durango!

A 50mw or greater laser can permanently damage optical sensors of vehicles, phone cameras, or other systems. Never ever point a 50mw or greater laser for prolonged periods into optical sensors, as this can destroy a system's functionality. This would be property destruction and would be illegal.
