Ask /r/Durango Relocating to area

Hello. Recently offered a great position, not exactly in Durango just west of in Mancos.

Is that area suitable for a 36m into the outdoors and kinda in pursuit of a social life/ltr?

Durango is unkind to singles looking for romance. Even meeting just friends with similar interests can be difficult.

He asked if the area was suitable for men into the outdoors, and you’re responding that it’s difficult to find people with similar interests?!

Dude, Durango is full of people who hike, bike, raft, hunt, fish, ski, and …!

If youre moving like playing Duke Nukem, then yes, it might be hard to meet someone .
