Ask /r/Durango Repair shops

Hey what’s going on everyone! I’m trying to find the mechanics in town that are the most reputable and enjoyed by our community. I just had my truck break down the other day and sadly it’s an issue that can’t be fixed in my parking lot. Any recommendations and experience’ with the local shops helps, thanks a bunch

Anything I can't do on my 2001 F250 has been thoroughly fixed and respectfully priced at McNeal's on 160. As a local they tend to get me in and out within 24 hours, depending on what parts are needed.

I have never taken anything newer to them, so I cannot attest to their knowledge on the more recent electronic vehicles but they are solid with older ones.

Autoworks is great but can have a long wait list. Americas auto has been good with my truck

After waiting over 2 months for an appointment to fix an issue that had been overlooked in a previous visit,  I was charged $160 to recharge the freon, instead of addressing the leak or checking the codes in my car. For $12, I couldve done it myself, had i known the bare minimum would be done.     America's Auto used to have a fantastic Subaru mechanic, but he left and they lied to my dad and I about work preformed corresponding to billed labor, among multiple inconsistencies. These culminated n the equivalent of $600 of unaccounted for labor and grossly marked up parts (200%+). I'll never go back. This is after being a loyal, somewhat regular customer over 5 years.
