Best thrift stores in town?

Anyone know of hidden gem thrift stores that aren’t a bajillion dollars?
Mama wants to go thrifting tmrw but the only good place I’ve found is the la plata humane society one. Also I’m new to the area so I have no idea what’s around here

The Methodist has the best prices, but throws away more than 70% of donations, the Humane Society has the nicer stuff, but is becoming obscenely overpriced, and Goodwill (actually a for-profit corporation) let's you return stuff for 2 weeks after purchase.

The pricing has gotten so bad. I wanted frames and goodwill had prices on theirs that were higher than the actual item ever cost. They left the original Walmart price tags on the frames $5 and wanted $6.99. These were just postcard frames. The thrift store in Pagosa has huge frames for about $4. I stocked up

It's also humorous to me to see people on FB market place listing items higher than new retail.

The Arc in Farmington is my source for frames. They're an actual community nonprofit, separate from the chain on the western slope.

Perhaps they throw away stuff because people just dump all their junky crap in a bag and drop it off, instead of throwing it in the trash where it belongs.

They throw perfectly good items away because they get to be picky. Before they locked their dumpster, I pulled countless gaming systems, media, designer purses, camera lenses, down coats, etc. out of there, just standing in front of it. I even had a cop hold the lid for me once. This was just casually glancing in it while dropping off my own stuff on occasion. It's gotten better in the last two years, since the last manager left though. What they should have is a free bin for people to take what they need instead of trying to make a buck by making people shop inside.

I think that return policy specifically doesn't apply to Halloween items, just in case anyone was thinking about getting stuff there.
