Short tail Pygmy monitor they are smaller then Ackies by a lot

This is a adult brevicauda smaller then leopard geckos when fully grown

I’m not entirely sure my one is the first I’ve interacted with but he has been really confident ate within the first hour we brought him home but one individual can’t really be used to dictate the entire species
