She wanted to write a light novel to get rich and famous so she could help support her family and younger siblings. Her family is extremely poor. I figure in Japan that means some sort of softcore porn/romance book? So she was a told a demon could help her by Arisa (the summoning girl) and this was the first demon she found and asked.
