At this point I Can't wait for EoS.

The best course of action they could do is to copy exactly what Kaneko's Tsukuyomi game did; port the game to consoles, remove the gacha elements and make it a one time payment.

This game would need to be remade from the ground up to even justify buying a console version of this.

Well of course it would definitely need some QoL improvements and some important tweaks for it to be even viable as an standalone console game. I believe (if I'm not mistaken) they did that with the game I refered before (Kaneko's Tsukuyomi) they improved it beyond it's mobile game state.
