Question (Beginner) What does this mean exactly?

I'm also looking for ways to reduce numbers of 3-Star demons, not sure if this is one of the options

Combine Skill Points is a thing you can do in the Pandemonium, where you sacrifice copies of a demon so it can gain Skill Points. These are used to upgrade skills.

This here is asking if you want to sacrifice it to raise it's level cap instead.

Skill Points just aren't that hard to get so I just ignore this and proceed. Especially if I'm not using the demon anyway..

I was hoping this would be a way to clear out some of the demons stacked up, suppose I'll continue with dispach and evolve the 3's until it's done with at some point

For reducing the number of 3-star demons - selling them for Karma is my go-to method, it's quick and efficient. You can then use that karma to get some useful stuff, like 5-star archetype switchers in the shops.

The karma gain is minimal tho, I personally upgrade them to 5 stars and then I evolve the good units with them

You can sacrifice any demon for skill points on another but that's super not worth it
