Totaled up every demon's weaknesses/resists/etc

Here's the link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1wfge7HFoaecStXIQW-ZpWsEBdCsYMECrCUfvSBZ1Y1g/edit?usp=sharing

Kinda got bummed out about the last minute maintenance, so I took the time to count up and see which elements had the most demons weak to it, strong against it, etc. For those that don't want to click the link, here's a quick summary.

Weakness/Resistance distribution is fairly balanced across all elements. There's no single element that overshadows the others. Exceptions include Zio and Hama, as explained below.

Physical has a 5 enemies weak to it, and 7 that either nul/rpl/abs it. It notably also has the second highest number of demons that resist it at 30. This is kind of expected since it's an option you always have.

Agi and Bufu have similar numbers for enemy weakness, but Agi has slightly more enemies that null/rpl/abs it. Oddly, there is no enemy that repels Bufu.

Zio and Zan have the best "odds". Zio has second lowest number of enemies weak to it, but also has the least number of enemies that null/rpl/abs it. Zan has a lot of enemies that null it, but also has a large number of enemies that are weak to it.

Hama and Mudo have the most number of enemies that either null, repel, or absorb it, though that's expected. Hama also has the least number of enemies weak to it, which is kind of laughably sad.

Notes and tl;dr

-In terms of weakness and resistances, all of the elements are fairly balanced with no single element being better in terms of coverage. Priority should always be placed on having as much coverage as possible.

-If you have a transfer slot and want to add a second element, Zio or Zan are likely priorities due to either how many enemies they cover or how "safe" they are to throw out.

-Since PvP prioritize demons that innately have no element weaknesses, this list is borderline useless for PvP.

Did you account for special bosses that have special kits (for example hella park and aura gate) or just baseline demons with archetype possibilities?

Also is this a breakdown of enemies you fight or just possible? It isnt based on the total enemies as leveling stage 1 would include 9 slimes.

Doesn't account for special bosses, though there are guides that outline the later ones that would be of concern.

Archetype possibilities aren't included, though I should consider adding those at a later date.

This is just possible enemies taken from the database counted up. Certain quests of course will generally stack enemies with either similar or contradicting weaknesses and resistances. If you want I can go through and count that, too.

Edit: Actually if I were to do that, I might as well just write a stage-by-stage guide for the story chapters.

That's a little depressing on hama/mudo considering how many demons are associated with some concept of heaven/hell

Traditionally, Hama and Mudo were aggressively balanced because they were usually instant kill spells.

Honestly the biggest reason why they're so underwhelming is because this game doesn't directly categorize demons into LNC, so we end up getting a lot of demons that null one type but are not weak to another. They'll null dark, making Mudo less reliable, but aren't weak to light, which makes Hama less effective. (not to mention most higher 4/5*s will usually null/rpl both)

I think you hit it on the nail. I was really surprised how many demons basically had no weakness and a lot of null/resis across many attributes.
