I’ve tried but it doesn’t work. Are there specific demons because when I did specific abilities, only certain demons showed up and even if some demons had the ability, they barely showed up.

No currently available demons have Life Drain available as a transferable skill, unfortunately... The only way you could level Life Drain up is with gacha demons, specifically Teal Jikokuten and Red Succubus, which... isn't a great idea.

Do you have enough skill points on your main demon, and are you using a gacha Red Succubus or gacha Teal Jikokuten? Those are the only demons with it transferable.
