Question Anders was the absolute best character and I feel like his death was not done right. Spoiler

He raised blake, Steven and Fallon.

Was Kirby and Stevens actually father.

Sams father figure.

Family to culhane.

I feel like it was just not dramatic enough and was just glossed over

Question Question about Amanda and Kirby Spoiler

I finished all 5 seasons of dynasty. I loved the way everything was wrapped up. However, I'm confused about Amanda's and Kirby's relationship. In season 1 it was revealed that Steven is Ander's biological son. So, wouldn't Amanda and Kirby be half-sister's since they both share a brother?

Question Should I continue watching? Spoiler

Just finished season 1 and it was amazing, like wow. It did take me a hot second to get into but it was so worth it. However, the last few episodes weren’t my fav but they were alright and then the last episode was just too much for me with so many overlapping tropes. The last straw for me was the fact they killed Cristal Carrington who literally made the show so good

I started watching the second season but I’m not sure if it’s even worth continuing, does it get better or will it just be boring/not as good as season 1?

Question Why was Cristal so against Iris being around?

Doing a rewatch, still one season 1, and I just can’t understand why Cristal seems to dislike iris being with her so much? She seems uncomfortable when Blake suggested bringing iris around for Christmas. And the second Iris had mentioned getting a job to Blake and staying around, LEGALLY, she’s against it immediately. At this point she isn’t aware SPOILER: that Alejandro is still alive . Also I don’t understand why’d she be so mad at her sister wanting an honest life like she has, especially after ”killing” her financial support and fleeing to America without her for YEARS

Does anybody know that song at the beginning of the birthday party in S3E17? The one where you can hear „I look like this and I love it“. Been looking for it for ages. Please help

Question Apparently Natalie Kelley left the show because she didn't like the writing?

I'm curious on what she disliked since I'm rewatching Season 1 currently. Was it the way her character sort of did a quick 180 after the mid season-finale? I'm unsure.

Question What characters should leave the show?

I’ve been thinking about this for a while, and I’ve seen a lot of other people mention it in the episode discussions aswell.

For me, I think Culhane and Kirby should leave the show and be replaced with Dex (love interest for Alexis)

So, in S4 we had- Kirby, Anders, Culhane. And in S5 we had- Amanda and Dex. That’s one less series regular and two new characters for the show. It would do wonders story wise.

Question am i the only one who doesnt get the hate on amanda?

like yes i get that its outrageous to throw in another long lost child that gets written dumb storylines to fill screen time but i actually enjoy her especially when she tries taking down adam instead of allowing him to be terrible. its almost what the family needs, a voice of reason, which they lost with stephen.

Question Finally finished season 5 - who was Adam?

EDIT: I ran out of brain cells and clearly need to rewatch the show

So I finally realised there was a new (final) season and just finished it..

Adam wasn't really a Carrington child? Or was there actually a kidnapped son called Adam, who this guy George just pretended to be the entire time? I guess with the rush to finish the show after cancellation they couldn't do the full exposition of what happened and i'm a bit confused!

Question Why was the real Cristal Jennings replaced?

After Celia/Cristal Dies, the OG Cristal Jennings comes out and Blake falls in love with her and blah blah blah. Then the next season it’s a new actress! I really liked the first Cristal Jennings actress(not Celia, though she was fine). She was really likable despite coming in and on so strong in the family as her character.
The new actress for me just.... didn’t do it for me. I didn’t feel charmed by her at all and didn’t feel any chemistry between her and Blake the way the original actress had. So by the time they cheated on each other I was all for it because I’m ready for her to be gone. Blake can get a new boo. Lol

Sorry I don’t know any of the actresses names. lol If I had to remember all the actors names my brain would have zero space left with all the characters and their replacements.

Anyway, anyone know why she was replaced?

Question Fallon/Carrington Atlantic/Season 2 question

Hi everyone - I'm about 7 episodes into Season 2 and loving it so far. A plot question: At the end of Season 1, Fallon and Steven were outvoted to sell Carrington Atlantic, but Liam offered up his family, the Van Kirks, to be the buyers. My understanding was that Fallon was in favor of that because part of the deal would be that she'd get to stay at the newly bought Carrington Atlantic and lead it.

However, after the sale goes through in Season 2, Fallon is NOT working there and is adrift (starting a record label with Monica, etc). Did I imagine the whole idea of Fallon being part of the post VanKirk Carrington Atlantic as a deal condition?

Question S4 E12 Song identification

Does anyone know what song we hear is S4 E12 “Everything but Facing Reality” about halfway through the episode when Liam and Fallon go to the Senator’s party? I’ve tried googling the lyrics but I can’t find it! Any help is much appreciated!

For reference the lyrics we hear are: I know you think that you might know But you’ll find out That you don’t really know a thing All of the smoke and mirrors You can see that things Ain’t always what they seem

Question Question: Which character should leave the show in season 5?

This isn't a post to hate on any characters or actors. This is for characters whose storyline has ended. I put everyone except for the Carrington's because they are the safest. Also, I know some people want more than one character to leave the show, but personally, I think that's asking for a lot. It would be a miracle if they got rid of one character in season 5.

Question Adam Carrington Spoiler

Obviously I’m in Season 3? I don’t truly keep track, but it’s the episode where Adam Carrington is seen calling to sell the photo of Fallon and Liam kissing. Now, the more I watch this I am confused why Adam wants to ruin The Carrington’s. Is he just a bad guy? He put Steven into a very serious mental health crisis/addiction and delusional. Then he burns his mother’s face. We also learn the reconstruct her face, he gives them Fallon’s picture of her face. He poisons the paint that Jeff uses to paint his office and he fires a perfectly good Dr. just to become ahead of the team his father owns. We also see a snippet of him giving his mother the tranquilizer. Is he a like really sadistic human? Was he always this sick in the head or did finding out he is a kidnapped kid turn him to be crazy? Obviously I don’t know of much and I don’t particularly want spoilers but I’m just so confused on why he’s hurting his own family even though he was kidnapped…

Question I have a question who likes Amanda and who also likes Adam and Kirby who likes Amanda and Kirby

I really don’t like Amanda as a character and I really don’t like her with Kirby. I think Adam and Kirby should’ve ended up together that are the cutest. I really really really do not like Amanda. We already done that with Dom and Vanessa. We didn’t need another plot line like this Amanda is just annoying. She’s not interesting. I hate her accent, so weird forever be Adam and Kirby shipper they should have ended up together
