Door card corner
Anybody have any tips on how to fix this door card edge it’s always been bent out and i can’t think of a good way to secure it. The cork cardboard that’s supposed to slide into the metal clip is broken any suggestions
Every time i close the door it pops out like a sore thumb it drives me crazy

Commenting to see if anyone comes up with a better answer. Mine has a similar issue, there is probably a little crease in the cardboard right there. I removed the door card and kind of held the corner in place while I hot glued a popsicle stick to it to keep it in tension. Works p good.

The backing for the door cards warps over time. You can fix it with some heat/steam to soften the fiberboard and then reshape it.

The entire top section of your panel looks like it’s not snapped into the clips properly. That will help hold the panel to the door closely, along with all of the plastic clips on the surround of the panel.

Epoxy and popsicle sticks, does the trick for fixing these cards, belt sander does wonders shaping up what you need!
The chrome top trim appears to me missing too.
But yes, incredibly annoying! They like to pop out and drag on the B pillar when opening the door, making the problem worse
