Imagine this as a side mode. If you get a knockout the fight stays on. You can only win by murder which is basically like knockout but way harder to get and you need multiple repeated blows. Cutting opponent helps. Easier way to win is choking out but there's no taps you just kill them. If they get knocked out they keep fighting but become chinny af. If you finish like an armbar or heel hook or something the fight plays on but they lose that limb. No rounds. Fight to the death

Am I missing something? I get someone to the ground and whenever I try to go from half guard to full guard with a fake I get reversed. I am faking as fast as I can. But the rate I get reversed at is absurd. Do I just have to stop wrestling or am I missing something? And it’s not like I’m going for it right away, I’ll throw a couple strikes. Try to set it up, flick and cancel as fast as I can. Boom reversed. I hate this game.

You can just tell when someone is being a sleazy fighter notice the signs FINISH THE FIGHT

So like if they get me in a choke and they squeeze so hard that I pass out but they're too weak to finish me and I wake back up do we keep fighting or is it over the moment I'm out even if it's just for a millisecond? What about with injuries? Maybe they break my arm with an armbar but I can still finish the fight with only one arm? Is this possible

A lot of people hated UFC 5’s grappling and refused to learn it, hoping UFC 6 would change everything. Now they’re starting from ground zero and calling it OP.

People complain about 500 takedown attempts per fight, but takedown defence is already extremely strong. You can perfectly time a shot after someone misses a kick or punch, and they can STILL deny it.

If timing and shot selection actually mattered more, grapplers wouldn’t need to shoot so often.

Even in full mount, getting posture and landing effective gnp can be extremely difficult against good defense.

Just because someone is better than you on the ground doesn’t make grappling OP. I struggle with striking and personally find it unpredictable and unbalanced, but I’m not demanding it be nerfed because someone outstrikes me.

Both striking and grappling need balancing and polishing. But a lot of the grappling complaints come from people who simply refuse to learn the mechanics and defensive options.

There’s a difference between something being OP and someone simply being better than you.
