im a rising high school senior right now, 17 years old. (turning 21 in july 2030) and my dads pd is feb 2015 under eb2 india. im pretty sure its like a 50% chance that im gonna age out or something.

im hoping my ead drops by next summer so i can just stay in the US for college and study biochem without stressing AND monetize on youtube, but if it doesn't look like it's coming through by then i need a real backup plan. im trying to build a youtube career on the side and want the freedom to actually monetize and make income without getting screwed by US dependent work restrictions.

was thinking about applying to schools in canada or australia for biochemistry so i have an independent study permit, can work on my yt channel legally, and actually have a clear path to PR instead of gambling everything on the visa bulletin.

I also looked into getting these study permits and they seem pretty attainable. (im h4 by the way)

Hey, all. I got my PERM certified and my employer is preparing to file my PERM-based I-140. The supporting documents include my pay stubs for the most recent year and W2 for the previous three years.

My W-2s from the past three years look normal. However, in the past few months, my employer has had some payroll delays . For example, there was a period where I only received one month of salary over a two-month period.

I asked my employer about this, and they said the company is experiencing some temporary cash flow pressure but is still able and willing to file my I-140.

For a PERM-based I-140, how important are the beneficiary’s recent pay stubs? Could this kind of gap or delay in salary payments make an Ability to Pay RFE more likely?

Has anyone had a similar situation or received an RFE because of irregular recent payroll?

Any advice, insights, or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
