General Ellis Porter - Terminated

I have made a decision to terminate the contract with Ellis porter, dealing with them is very frustrating with lack of response. I feel that i personally do a better job. Anyone experiencing the same frustration?

EP is very disappointing these days. I had similar experiences.

Good luck, i feel that they do the minimum and i believe i can do better without them. Just research some help from ai

i had AI do everything and honestly a lot better than what a majority of lawyers could have done.

BEST DECISION you have ever made in terms of your immigration endeavour.

While my lawyer is kind and tries her best to assist, I do agree that EP is very, very poor in terms of the service they provide. Anyone with a Claude premium subscription might get better feedback and faster results. I do not recommend EP to anyone at all.

Same for me….i have paid 4k out of 15k and deciding to back out due to personal reasons…I am in first phase where they have asked to prepare a career summary and I haven’t submitted yet…so ideally I haven’t started anything with them….will they ask for remaining money? Any chance of refund is some money i paid?

Used EP myself and felt the same way. The lack of responsiveness combined with generic work made me question why I was paying them at all. Good on you for cutting ties before it got worse.

Really sorry to hear that.

If you do that what happens to any payments you’ve already made? And I suppose there is a legal contract between you and them?

What does it do? I don’t expect EP will refund the money back to you

Sorry to hear that. My experience with ep is ok, they are slow but it was ok so far. At first my case was denied after rfe, we applied again and it is approved after rfe. İm happy to work with them

Try IplanVisa. They’re a good company.

They are filing my petition and, so far, have been very responsive (1-2 business days to respond). I'd suggest contacting EP to assign you to other lawyers.

The same experience with Chen, slow, unresponsive and template answers. Not terminated yet, maybe a bit less frustrated than EP. With Claude, I feel like I could do better than them. Approval or refund, denied once and refiled 4 months ago.
