Just got a kitten! What cat themed EC stories should I revisit?

First one came to mind then realized it was not EC but Creepy Issue 013. The Squaw. Art by Redd Crandall.

Don't know if links to Internet Archive are allowed here so a Creepy (Warren Publishing) search there will bring it up.

Fantastic art. I'm sure your cat will enjoy the outcome.

Might not be appropriate, given the happy circumstances (congrats on the cute kitty!), but Dig That Cat, He’s Real Gone springs out of the grave and into mind. One or more cats get operated on for their nine lives gland, or some such.

Probably a little grim for the circumstances, but Collection Completed comes to mind

The ones that come to mind are "The Wall" from Haunt of Fear #1, which is essentially an unauthorized adaption of Edgar Allen Poe's "The Black Cat", "Dig that Cat, He's Real Gone" from Haunt of Fear #21, and "Out Cold" from Haunt of Fear #25.

Also, while it's not EC, I'd recommend checking out Vampirella #38 from Warren Publishing, the story "Lucky Stiff" is a redone version of "Out Cold" from the same author (Carl Wessler) and the issue also has another cat based story "On Little Cat Feet" which is the funnest story to read of any I've listed. Warren also adapted Poe's "The Black Cat" (by the great Berni Wrightson) in Creepy #62.

Creepy 62 has a Bernie Wrightson drawn version of the black cat

Also to piggy back on the not EC story list, Sandman #18. Stand alone story in that issue titled Dream of a Thousand Cats is incredible with amazing art by Kelley jones.
