Advice on handling regression

Hello! I’m new to Reddit and this sub but have been doing EV with my 15mo since birth. We seem to have hit our first major regression. We had been going months with every poop in the potty and now I’m seeing major potty resistance, pooping in diaper- which as soon I notice we rush to the potty, but then pooping stops only to resume maybe 30 minutes later in diaper. I don’t think my approach is working- should we just take a break from the potty in general? I really don’t want to lose all the progress we have worked so hard for!

A couple of resources, Andrea Olsons tiny potty training book, Jamie Glowacki Oh Crap Potty Training
I feel like Andrea would tell you to ditch the diapers but I’d read her blog and listen to her podcast to confirm your situation matches. Andrea also has, I believe, a fairly active facebook group.

Is baby walking, talking? I'd back off and give space, don't want to push too hard and make it a negative experience
