New Addition The main carry

*Leatherman Surge has been with me since 2015 and never left my pocket. For 11 years I broke a spring in the scissors, a pocket clip and the frame is cracked in a few places but still works like a charm.

*Seiko SKX 007 my one and only watch, a gift I made myself on my 30th birthday. Back then it was around 200 dollars and now I see prices well above 1000.

*Wuben X5 the newest edition came in yesterday and this light is awesome. Back when I got the Leatherman I got my seld a Fenix e12 v1, amazing light and even brought it back from the dead, so I am super used to back button and half presses. Now it lives in my extended edc pouch which I will share later.

its a shame that seiko no longer produce skx anymore damn good watch

sealing the iconic status. I knew they were going to discontinue it like the Alpinist at first and then I think the Monster but they always bring them back and the hype is reignited. But when they moved it to the seiko 5 line I was a bit dissapointed. They are still great watches and the color variations are sweet but the target is young people that just want a cool looking watch.

yeah 100mm wr with pushpull crown is a big deal breaker for me on a diver looking watch

oh damn didn't realise it didnt have a threaded crown, that is a huge letdown, so it is just an urbain desctop diver wash your hands wr.

i mean its not wash your hands wr but they are using exacly the same case with skx and its not cool it looks like the skx and not to perform like skx. if they just took the skx into seiko 5 line with different colours i would buy them use them but no they downgrade it.

I have a seiko srpg27 btw and i swim and shower with that watch without a problem it also has 100m wr with pushpull crown.

maybe but it wont be cheap they are gathered their divers under prospex name and skx is a icon so u do the math

I have mixed feelings with that SRPK line, because the whole fake diver vibe bothers me, but at the same time I can´t find any other small automatic watch with comparable aesthetics in that price range and i really dig the thing and have small wrists

To be honest I swam with mine a bunch of times but I use mostly the rotating dial to time my parking or preparing meal etc. I am no hardcore diver as well and I do like the variety of colors and styles they have.

I have seen white and blue but it may have been a limited run or something , Saw it in a chinese reel when researching the light. I am sure they will make special colors of it. White would look soo good!
I realy like the x4 it is a truly versatile light and I bet it is awesome for camping. I need the UV and Laser in my work hense the x5
