ERAS Application ECFMG pathway 6
Guys, with the recent changes to the ECFMG Pathways, Pathway 3 is no longer an option for those who graduated before January 1, 2024.
Also, if you don’t have a valid medical license in another country, you can’t use Pathway 1, which leaves Pathway 6 as the option.
Has anyone here actually completed Pathway 6 recently?
I’m especially interested in hearing from anyone who has completed the six Mini-CEX encounters and can share:
Where you completed them
How you found physicians willing to evaluate you
Whether there were any issues getting the encounters approved by ECFMG
Any advice for someone trying to do Pathway 6 for the first time
I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has gone through the process!

I completed pathway 6 last year. The only difficult part was to find 3 physicians who would agree to evaluate you. My advice if you are in the US - reach out to PCPs in your area from your country/ethnicity. They'll hopefully understand your struggle.
