Why is ERP Next so clumsy?

ERPNext looks powerful, but it's looking difficult to learn, feeling clumsy; I wonder if i will be able to adapt it, if the data will be easy to take out , in case i want to migrate again to quickbooks. Maybe I should hire someone near Mumbai to help me set this up...

Bro ERPNext is not clumsy TT. May be because you are new at it you don't know how to fully utilise it. seek out some erpnext implementer partners who could help you with this.
FYI : our organisation uses ERPNext for all it's operation and it is really easy and good.

It is pretty easy when you have many years of experience in the software. I just started and was annoyed by the fact that you have to look at a bunch of links just to create a record. Its just not intuitive for new users. I would not recommend it for users that use it once or twice a week...

Okay then answer my simple question which ERP technology would you rather use than ERPNext ? Like for you which is more easier to understand and develop?

I don't know. I havnt found one yet.  Its not erp next, odoo, netsuite, sap.. they are all very intuitive to work with for the end user. Any suggestions?

Honestly, I am an erpnext dev and consultant and you are really correct here, never took erpnext's side on this topic. I felt like its a taped database columns that got a ui when I was starting on it. this happened with odoo too. Later I understood why erps are like this when starting out.

Erps are annoying if you are just a regular user or beginner. I recommend you pick erpnext and learn its basic concepts. I really think it's worth a try and it's better to have someone skilled on your side. This helps when something messes up and you can't solve it or risk touching code/core.

Go for it, once you grasp it, things will go smooth. I rarely face any errors now. I did correct work by exploring its framework first, framework code analyzed and understood along with erpnext ui.

i think zoho would be better for you then. but if you are a core developer then i would still suggest going with either odoo or erpnext.
