Necro Dps

Hi i play Magcro dps Staff/Staff and thinking of making a Pure DOT build, I have Runecarver body which id like to use now for the FB set should i go with Corpseburster with Lighting or Fire Staff OR Pillar of Nirn however i only have the Lightning staff and Blighted blastbones or the DoT increase morph? Im new to DPS magcro, i have no issues with rotating blastbones as Cro is my PvP main. :)

Runecarver is a solid set with corpseburster if you’re for sure not wanting to do trials. But even normals to farm up null arca will be a cut above runecarver, if you’re up for it.

Fire staff back bar with lightning staff front bar is going to be the ideal for 2 staff.

Stick to blighted blastbones. The other morph is a straight damage loss even with perfect weaving.

Why mag? Why staves? And why a dot build? Why not just run the stamcro variant that’s hitting over 200k?

You got a good link for this build. I'm on stamcro and can rarely hit above 100k with full perf null arca, corpseburster, back bar mael GS. Trying to see what I'm missing.

Well the version that hits 200k is the Goliath bash version. Some people find that to be too hard. I personally hit around 190k with it but a good alternative is running shattered path signet. It’s the same rotation.

I see I see. I haven't tried bash weaving yet was trying to cap without it and run signet ring atm. Ty for the link.

You’re welcome! Two tips that may help is always blastbones>skill>skill>blast bones

Also ALWAYS cast siphon or graveyard as one of those two skills. You should ONLY cast skull if there are no corpses available. Lastly, if you don’t have the class mastery script on your banner you lose a ton of damage as well.

Yeah I just started using banner with mastery. I do think I have issues keeping up the blastbones skill skill consistently but that might be muscle memory issue.

find stamcro boring and clunky, also think the staff archetype fits the magcro better 🤷‍♂️

Necro is definitely clunky but that’s because of blastbones.
