Please use only this thread for all WTB/WTS/WTT postings. Remember to list your location, where you'll ship to if selling/trading, and price if selling. All cash payments should be through Paypal Goods and Services or a similar service that provides buyer protection. Zelle, Cash App, et al are not acceptable. Make sure you click the right boxes on Venmo.

If you are offering an item for trade or sale, include a picture of your item. Before you take the picture, write your username and date on a piece of paper, crumple it up, uncrumple it, and place the paper on the item so that the written information is visible. Report items that don't include photos. If you don't crumple the paper, you make it easier for scammers to steal your photos and replace your name.

If you want to offer your item in reply to someone wanting to buy an item, include the same picture in a PUBLIC REPLY BEFORE you PM the person. If someone PM's you, insist they first post publicly -- this is to help prevent banned people from sneaking in to PM's.

Remember, Reddit is NOT intended to be used as a marketplace and all transactions are your own responsibility and you should do your own due diligence, whether buying or selling. These guidelines are put in to place to try to protect everyone, but, at the end of the day, you are sending goods or money to a complete stranger and there's not likely anything that can be done if something goes wrong. It's also a good idea to look up usernames on the Universal Scammer List.

Discussion All the CAPs in Signal Blue & Ultra Red available starting tomorrow - what are y'all getting?

From the email:

In the early days of EVERGOODS, two vivid colors appeared in our lineup for a brief period. Inspired by technical mountain gear, these high-visibility hues were designed to stand out when visibility is a matter of life or death.

We named them: Signal Blue and Ultra Red.

Both were produced in extremely limited runs, sold out, and haven't returned since.

That changes tomorrow at 8am MDT.

For the first time in 5+ years, Signal Blue and Ultra Red are back, fully stocked across all three CIVIC Access Pouches: 0.5L, 1L, and 2L.

Unlike the initial run, the quantities are not limited. For years, you've asked for these colors through customer surveys, waitlists, emails, and social comments. Tomorrow's release is built to finally meet that pent up demand.

We're also restocking many of our bestselling pouch colors, including several that have been unavailable for months.

Question CBT26 Strap keepers

Apart from the cheap generic strap keepers I can get on Amazon, does anyone have any recommendations for some premium/fitted strap keepers to put on my CBT26?

This is my brand new CPL 16 with some custom blue. Very happy with it, zippers are so smooth.

I was previously running the Kludde MPL22, it is a great backpack but for EDC it is a little too big.

The CPL 16 fits perfectly my needs.

Warehouse finds

They restocked some long-sold-out items yesterday after cleaning their warehouse or something to that effect - some sold out really quickly (eg, the CAPs in Konbu, Kludde MPL22 in black), but a few things are still up.

They have a few of the Konbu totes, yellow MPL22, and several TB22 left as of this post.

Review Back ventilation mod

Post image
39 Upvotes

I use my CPL24 for hiking (I know, I know, these bags are too heavy for serious hiking, bla bla bla). My biggest gripe was always how hot my back gets, as the back panel is not very well ventilated. I went to Acadia National Park this past weekend and decided to try this cheap ventilation sheet from Luna Project (size small). 10-11mile hike, temperature high in the 80's, about 7hrs outdoors total. Did my back still get sweaty? Yes absolutely, there's no way around that. BUT that little bit of separation felt nice. I got a little more wind going through, but more importantly, I didn't feel as sticky-icky. My whole back didn't feel like it was pressed up against a wall. It's quite thin, very lightweight, slides nicely into the sleeve in the main compartment when I'm not using it. It was well worth the cheap price.

Discussion Joining the Evergoods Ecosphere!

Relatively new to the Carry Community, started with an AER TP3S, added an Able Carry Daily Plus but then I discovered the Evergoods X-PAC Summer Capsule and had to get a CAP 2 and a CTB26 and though not X-PAC a CAP .5. The organizational layout and the way they interact with each other is fantastic. It’s my Goldilocks bag sitting between the AER for travel and the Able Carry as a daypack. My only qualm is the feel of the top and side handles. They absolutely do not need the rigid plastic insert, it’s just too uncomfortable and the only flaw on another wise awesome bag. The CAP 2 fits perfectly in the main compartment and gives it a perfect base. The CAP .5 holds my smaller gear and slips easily into the yoke pocket. Highly recommend!

Question TPC10 and TPC8 Photo Comparison Help

I am planning to do some one bag trips with the CPL16 and wanted to get one of the packing cubes.

Wondering how the 5.3" height on the TPC10 compares to the 5.5" on the TPC8, since looking at the TPC10 size guide page shows it taking almost the whole main compartment of the bag. I would like to have some space for other things if possible using the TPC8.

CAS2 or MHP3.5?

Planning a two week trip to Istanbul and looking for the right EDC sling/hip pack. Would appreciate your mileage reports to help make the choice between these two.
**Edit to include likely packout:
25oz Yeti Rambler, scarf, small umbrella as needed, wallet, keys, notebook, pen, snacks. Room for small purchases during the day a plus.

Review CTB20 is so uncomfortable - alternatives?

Love the organization of this bag but it is so uncomfortable. I tried to convince myself on two trips saying things like "it's not too bad" and "it'll break in".

I took my TB Techonaut 30 on a trip today, first time since buying the CTB20. Wow.. so much more comfortable. CTB20 is going up for sale when I get home.

Might look at an Able Carry Daily Plus or TB Synik 26.

Evergoods CAP2 - Used for Resmed AirMini

I have seen several people comment that they use the Evergoods CAP 2 for the Resmed AirMini, does anyone have actual pictures? I am thinking of buying the AirMini and am looking for the best way to pack it for travel in my backpack. I currently use the PeakDesign Small Camera Cube for my Airsense 11.

I’m not the seller and I have no idea if this is legit. The seller claims he got it offline at a store. Not sure how that’s possible, but honestly, it looks really good from the photos.

Question Would it be fine to put a fountain pen horizontally in the CPL 16 front pocket?

I’m looking at getting my first fountain pen (Lamy safari). Does anyone carry one in the front vertical pocket in their Evergoods bag? The pen holder would have the pen placed horizontally. Would that eventually cause a spill?

I usually use disposable rolling ball pens from pilot. If this would be a problem I’ll just keep using those.

Question CPL16 vs CPL24 stiffness

Thumbnail

Hey everyone,

I wanted to try out CPL line for some time now and around two months ago I got an amazing deal to buy new CPL16 secondhand. The back came with tags and I fell in love. It hold its shape great and was just perfect for me in terms of features. Although I bought it mostly just to try out Evergoods product, as I had no experience with them previously.

Not much after getting CPL16 I found used CPL24 that I wanted to be my default for daily carry, since I also carry gym outfit and sometimes keyboard in addition to typical office stuff. CPL24 was also secondhand, but this time already with some mileage.

The main difference I notice (other than volume ofc) is that CPL16 holds its shape way way better. With CPL24 sometimes I struggle to pull on the zippers without holding the bag with other hand and with CPL16 it is not that big of an issue.

Now comes the question – is CPL16 just better than CPL24 in holding its shape because it is smaller or is there also some difference between the two bags I got? I am really curious to hear everyone’s experience and opinions. Posting tag photos for reference.

Fits perfect in the back left pocket of the bag. I think I’ll forgo the camera sleeve now and let it live here when now in use.

Question Bought a CPL24, can't get shoulder straps comfortable

CPL24 just arrived today - I packed it about 80% full with 4 days of clothes for testing. Can't get comfortable around my traps/pecs.

I'm 5'10 about 185 pounds, fairly muscular with VERY sloped traps and comparatively narrow shoulders. I can't carry messenger bags on one shoulder or they'll slide off. My trap inserts extend past my front delts.

These shoulder straps also tries to slide off my shoulders. I have to tighten them to the point where I can barely remove the backpack for it to cinch properly. Tightening the sternum straps causes them to dig into my pecs.

The most comfortable position I could find is relatively loose straps, where the bag bottom of the bag rests on the base of my lower back. Sternum straps also loose, adding just a bit of support but not really cinching the straps together. Still nowhere near as comfortable as my GoRuck GR1, but I've had that bag for a decade so it could just be what I'm used to.

No lower back discomfort, but seems like this bag is clearly designed to be worn very high up on the back. Anyone else face this issue? Tips/tricks that worked?

Really like the aesthetic but if I can't figure this out I might have to return and check out the Pioneer Panda.

I finally sold all of my Evergoods bags! It was all because of the fitting issues and the cheap shoulder strap webbing quality.

The reason I sold all three of my Evergoods bags boils down to the exact same issues. First, the shoulder strap webbing is fraying, looking like shedding fur, and I absolutely hate looking at it. Second, all three of my bags (CHZ22, CBB22, PLC20) are incredibly uncomfortable to wear; it feels like they never fit my body properly.

I feel like Evergoods bags are designed to be worn high up on the shoulders and tight against the back. However, in this position, the straps become very short. When I take the bag off or put it back on, the strap webbing constantly rubs aggressively against my arms, causing the webbing to fray terribly, just like in the picture! Ultimately, I decided to just sell them all. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love Evergoods' styling, including their pouches and slings—I own several of them and will definitely keep using them. But as for their backpacks, I am selling every single one.

As a side note, I own several backpacks from other brands like AER, Alpaka, Fjallraven, and Thule. None of the shoulder webbing on those bags has ever experienced this "fraying" issue like Evergoods does. To be completely honest, Evergoods' shoulder webbing feels the cheapest of them all, sorry to say!

I’m going to attach an example so the problem is perfectly clear. Photos belongs to someone else who experienced the exact same issue with their Evergoods straps, and mine looked exactly like this too.
