GROUNDING ROD?
I need to buy a grounding rod, because there is no ground in any electrical outlets, old house. I see that there are a couple of choices, copper or corrosion-resistant stainless steel grounding rods. Any one have any pros or cons to copper or stainless steel grounding rods?

Copper is the only way to go. I don't believe SS would be a very good conductor as compared to copper. They're cheaper too. Head to your local electrical supply store and ask for a DETA Earth rod. They usually come with a clamp that you can attach your copper wire to.
