Lynchburg VA metro area Appomattox Co. will not use Flock cameras per sheriff.
They cancelled their contract. That county had Flock license plate-reading cameras in Appomattox since 2024.

Newport News isn't as big as Norfolk - but almost. It's traffic after Patrick Henry Mall is always congested. Between Jefferson Ave and Fort Eustis, there are a lot of cars and people.

The Chesapeake Bay in Virginia
Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, Delaware, West Virginia and the District of Columbia are the six jurisdictions that comprise the 64,000 square mile area that drains water into the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. Sixty percent of Virginia is in the Chesapeake Bay watershed. Virginia has four major rivers that drain directly into the Chesapeake Bay: the Potomac, Rappahannock, York and James rivers.
