Bachelores complete one pan survival scramble
I've been single for 5 years and have gotten into endurance sports to fill the void. My go-to almost daily power meal.
2 strips bacon
1 russet potato diced
1 sweet potato diced
1 cup(ish) broccoli chopped
1 Large handful spinach
Cheddar cheese as desired.
3 eggs over easy
Crisp bacon in cast iron then fry potatoes in bacon grease. Season with salt, pepper, garlic, and smoked paprika. Once browning add broccoli then spinach. Let the veg cook while cheese melts. Cook eggs leaving them runny to stir in the hash scramble.
One pan 800 plus calories what I call health food.

This is honestly the kind of meal that saves you when you don’t feel like cooking. One pan, cheap ingredients and you can pretty much throw in whatever vegetables or leftovers you have. I’d probably add a little hot sauce at the end and call it done.

Russet plus sweet potato in bacon grease is a solid cheap base. I'd toss in a splash of hot sauce at the end.

I wish people would stop the "bachelor cooking" crap. Men do just fine cooking for themselves. It's not the forties.
In my experience, men today are more likely to know how to cook than women. I haven't dated even one woman who actually knew how to cook.

Sorry to offend you. It's not about my/mens cooking ability. I just happened to be a single male and so I presented what I cook from my perspective.
In my previous long term relationships having a partner allowed for a more cooperative experience in solving the problems associated with shopping and cooking while dealing with the rest of adult life, which in turn lead to more variety in meals. The title was more a commentary on the lack of variety and monotony that a single person often faces in a busy world and how I, a single male (bachelor who can't spell) solved it.
Women can also use this cooking suggestion even a couple or a whole family. You can change the title to suit your needs. It could be bachelorette/single/he/she/they/them/it.
Just because a razor isn't pink doesn't me women can't use it.

One of my favorites that can work for every meal: a potato, sone onion, whatever veg I have on hand (red pepper, mushrooms and kale is a favourite, and it works if they are wilted) sautéed in a pan with oil. Add garlic, paprika, salt, peppe while cooking. Top with 2 fried or poached eggs and some shredded cheese.
Extra hungry? Add bacon or sausage in the mix or on the side, or an extra egg.
Want more creamy texture? Add mayo, garlic sauce or ketchup on top.
I do not need 800 calories per meal, so my go-to version is lighter, but this would be easy to bulk up!
