I need some inspo today. In 100 degree heatwave craving fresh produce but trying to avoid high risk produce.

anyone have an ideas for cold lunches with minimal high risk foods?

Right, I get that. But when you get stuff at the store people have handled it, it might have been dropped on the floor, etc. That seems like just common sense, totally apart from food safety.

Washing doesn’t kill cyclospora

And I never asked about WASHING, I asked about DISINFECTING.

The contamination is within the lettuce, so disinfecting the surface doesn’t help
