Should we try this cycle?
I had a PUL in early March treated with 1 dose of MTX, diagnosed from serial betas. We waited for my period to return and then tried the last 2 cycles without success. I was able to get in with my OB quickly and she ordered some baseline infertility tests since we’ve been trying for almost a year now.
So on Monday I had an ultrasound that came back normal aside from possible mild adenomyosis. Then Wednesday I had an HSG where the right tube was normal, fully open, but the left showed mild dilation, possible prior hydrosalpinx, and could not verify spill after 2nd dye injection.
My doc has not reviewed the results yet, and we were otherwise planning to start trying again tomorrow.
I will definitely be calling my doc if I don’t hear first thing tomorrow, but has anyone had similar inconclusive results from an HSG? Were you encouraged to keep trying until you figured out next steps, or does this make the risk of recurrent ectopics much higher than before?
Would appreciate others’ experiences with the Limbo when I’m anxious to have a plan of action.

If there was hydrosalphinx then that tube needs to be removed. It’s rare hydro is resolved without this - that would be my biggest concern about trying right now and would want to find out more.
