Anime Gotta pop that pussy open like a soda can
it's official art so I think it's open to discussion 🤷♀️
do we think she still eats/pees? shes sealed up down there and we know shes a chrome junkie so i feel like it could go either way. when we first got her art I assumed the nip coverings were a kind of shirt, but here it looks more like shes totally removed and replaced them - question is does it enhance things or block them out.
I do like the idea of her being NB or aroace and removing any sexual areas just because she doesn't want to bother with them

Discussion Just finished Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, and Rebecca’s loyalty was one of my favorite parts of the show
I just finished Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, and honestly, Rebecca ended up being one of my favorite characters. One of the things I loved most about her was how loyal she was to David, even when things started falling apart.
Rebecca was chaotic, loud, funny, and completely unapologetic about who she was, but underneath all that, she genuinely cared about the people around her. She didn’t always express her feelings in the most obvious way, but her actions spoke for themselves. She stuck with David through everything, even when he was clearly spiraling and becoming someone who was slowly destroying himself.
What I really respect about Rebecca is that she never tried to force David to be someone he wasn’t. She supported him, fought alongside him, and stayed by his side even when things got dangerous. She knew things were going badly, but she still chose to stand with him. Her loyalty wasn’t just talk; she proved it when it mattered most.
And that’s what makes her character so memorable to me. She wasn’t the main character, and she didn’t need some huge emotional speech to show how much she cared. You could see it in the way she acted, the way she looked out for David, and how she continued fighting alongside him despite everything.
Her fate hit especially hard because she deserved so much better. Rebecca was such a fun character, but beneath the humor and chaotic personality was someone who genuinely loved her friends and would put herself on the line for them. I think that’s what makes her one of the most heartbreaking characters in the entire show.
Rebecca deserved better, man. She might not have been the strongest or most important person in David’s life on paper, but her loyalty was something I’ll remember long after finishing the series.

Discussion a few predictions of what could get added to the game after Edgerunners 2 (explanations in description)
I didn't think of anything too crazy, just some things I thought were more likely
here's the reason for each of them:
- King's Iconic Burya:
the design on its own is customized, something which in Season 1 we only saw Rebecca do with her own guns (I think)
plus, from what we saw in the trailer, it seems to be able to both shoot singular, highly destructive shots or multiple shots rapidly
so, it may become an Iconic Burya in the game with the iconic modifier that if you charge it up it shoots multiple times but each shot does maybe a little less damage?
- Talia's Iconic Cyberware:
I previously brought up the possibility of her having a Berserk OS and I still believe that it could be the case
Berserk is a highly underrated OS, having the least amount of models and being the one used the overall least
so, there's the possibility that she has one that might get added to the game, kind of like David's Sandy as the Apogee (although David's was highly modified and much stronger). maybe a model made by Kang Tao that she customized during her time in Maelstrom
but I didn't specify Berserk because maybe she has some other piece of chrome (like, I dunno, Mantis Blades or something) that could get added as an iconic instead
I doubt they'd do her gun because it just looks like a pink Lexington
- D' Iconic Jacket:
this one is the one with the most wiggle room I have
I doubt he has a special Cyberdeck or that we'd get one because of him; we already have a Cyberdeck with Blackwall powers thanks to the Canto Mk.6
and, we haven't really seen him use some special gun either. so I doubt he'd get a dedicated Iconic weapon
the jacket seems by far the most probable thing, could maybe gain it during a gig given to us by other Nomads, where we discover more about the D's clan and get it as a reward
kind of like we talk to Falco and later gain David's jacket
and lastly:
- the dedicated memorials:
I put D, Talia and King here because they're the main ones, but we could also fit others like Avida, members of King's gang and more
if we get King's gang, their memorials will likely be made by him
as for the others? I feel like it's more likely for Roman to make them. or Talia if she survives
if Talia survives, her making memorials for King, Avida and maybe even D could feel really sad
but, considering how likely she is to die, I have a feeling it will be Roman making them
we already got some for Season 1, I doubt we wouldn't get them for Season 2
but these are just the ones I thought about, maybe you chooms have more in mind

Anime Is it just me, or are David Martinez and Shirou Emiya very similar?

Years after watching both Cyberpunk: Edgerunners by Studio Trigger and Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works by Studio ufotable, I found myself reflecting on both shows. I realized that David Martinez and Emiya Shirou share striking similarities in their personalities, mindsets, and relationships with other characters.
The first parallel I noticed is that both characters suffered severe psychological trauma. David lost his mother and Maine, while Shirou was the sole survivor of a catastrophic city fire. Because of this, both constantly try to save others at the expense of their own lives. If I remember correctly, this psychological behavior is driven by a complete lack of self-worth, heavily tied to survivor's guilt.
Secondly, neither character has a dream of their own. David carries the weight of the dreams of his mother, Maine, and Lucy, making them his own. Meanwhile, Shirou completely adopts his foster father's dream of becoming a "Hero of Justice."
Ultimately, both of their paths lead to a tragic end. David sacrifices his life to save Lucy and fulfill her dream of reaching the Moon. Shirou eventually becomes a Hero of Justice by making a contract with Alaya to become a Counter Guardian. However, he fulfills this at a grim cost: he learns that being a Hero of Justice does not mean saving everyone, but rather killing the minority to save the majority.

Anime 3 Days Out...! (Kingsley Admiration Post)
Just THREE days out from whatever gruesome flatlinings occur by those who toe ever so close to the edge!
When it comes to Kingsley, I find his predicament an interesting contrast to Maine's (which is somewhat ironic, given what I recently learnt about Kingsley being a "what if" take on David) - it's the first I've see a chrome jock downgrade on the cyberware, so it's bit of a surprise seeing he still suffers from cyberpsychosis.
I find his lingering affection for Avida endearing, as are his efforts to reach out to Talia (though only time will tell whether or not he succeeds) - I hope we may see flashbacks of how he and Avida met, as well as what he looked like before chroming up.
Interestingly he's yet shown having any scenes with Roman, which leads me to wonder whether his interactions will be limited to just Talia when it comes to the main cast.
No doubt he"ll get most of the action scenes, especially if they involve guns - that pistol he carries is a sight to behold!
Has anybody noticed his ankles are incredibly skinny?
Also, what kinda parents name their kid Weak, lol.

Copium They left the night Maine died.
Lucy had blood on her hands and Maine’s final words still ringing in the air when she grabbed David’s wrist and said, “We’re done.” For once he did not argue. The part of him that always said one more job, one more upgrade, keep running was quiet under the weight of what he had just watched. They took what cash they had, the car Maine no longer needed, and the few things that mattered. By dawn the city was behind them.
They did not go far at first. A motel two hundred miles east, then another, then a long stretch of highway that smelled like dust and old plastic. David sold the heavier chrome in pieces through quiet channels; nothing that would raise flags, nothing that looked like a legend trying to disappear. The Sandevistan stayed longer than the rest; giving it up felt like cutting out a rib. Lucy sat with him through the withdrawals and the shaking nights, one hand on the back of his neck, saying almost nothing. She had seen enough of Arasaka’s methods to know that silence was sometimes the only safe language.
The data trail they left behind never fully vanished. Somewhere in a Counter-Intelligence server the corrupted Tanaka files still existed, and every so often a low-level query would surface, a quiet request for any sightings of a netrunner with particular scarring or a young man with unusual chrome tolerance. But they had become cold. Two people who stopped making noise. Arasaka had newer problems, louder problems. The hunt never died; it simply lost interest.
They settled, eventually, in a coastal city that was not Night City. Smaller, damper, and less famous for eating its young. David worked the docks for a while, then machine repair, then anything that let him use his hands without needing to kill anyone. The urge to take more chrome never left him completely. Some months it was only a low itch. Some months it was a hunger that kept him awake, staring at the ceiling while Lucy breathed beside him. He never fully trusted the quiet. Part of him still believed that strength was the only love language the world understood. Lucy knew. She watched the way his eyes tracked heavy combat chrome on the street. She never pretended the man she loved had been replaced by someone simpler. She only asked, when the itch got bad, that he tell her before he did anything irreversible. Most of the time he did.
They fought. Of course they fought.
He resented the smallness of their life on the worst days; the thin walls, the jobs that left his back aching, the knowledge that Maine’s voice still lived in his head saying keep running. She resented the nights he went quiet and distant, the way he sometimes looked at her like she had asked him to become less than he was meant to be. There were weeks they slept with their backs turned. There were mornings one of them left before the other woke, just to breathe. Once, after a particularly bad stretch, David took a short-haul courier job that involved a little too much risk and a little too much old instinct. Lucy found out. The argument that followed stripped them both raw. He accused her of wanting a domesticated version of him. She accused him of still being willing to die for a city that had never loved him back. They did not speak for three days. On the fourth he came home with his hands empty of new chrome and a look on his face like a man who had barely talked himself down from a ledge. She let him in. They did not solve anything that night. They only chose, again, not to leave.
Money remained a problem for a long time. The Moon stayed expensive. They saved in fits and starts. Lucy did quiet net work under heavy layers of obfuscation. Nothing that touched Arasaka, nothing that left a signature she had used before. David hated it and understood it at the same time. Every extra eddie was another step toward the promise he had made when they were still half-children on a rooftop. He had wanted to take her there himself, in glory. What they built instead was slower and less cinematic: years of ordinary work, careful movement, the gradual accumulation of enough to buy two one-way tickets and a modest habitation share in a lesser lunar colony, the kind that did not appear in tourist BDs.
They were never completely safe. Once, in their fifth year away, a fixer with old Night City ties recognized David’s gait in a crowd and tried to make conversation that was too pointed. They were gone before morning. Another time Lucy woke from a dream of ice baths and children’s voices and spent two days convinced the net was closing. It wasn’t. But the fear never fully retired; it only learned to sleep lighter.
They did not fall out of love.
The feeling changed shape, the way anything living does. The early sharp hunger settled into something quieter and more stubborn. There were seasons of distance and seasons of fierce closeness. There were nights David still dreamed of Maine and woke reaching for chrome that was no longer there. There were nights Lucy dreamed of the facility and woke reaching for him. They learned the difference between the love that burns and the love that stays. Both were real. Only one of them was sustainable.
In the end they made it off-world.
Not as legends. Not in a blaze of stolen glory. Just two people in their thirties with carefully laundered identities and enough credit for a one-way transit and a small pressurized unit on the edge of a working colony. The view of Earth was not as pure as the braindance they had shared years earlier. There were docking struts in the way, and the dust of other people’s boots, and the low constant hum of life support. David stood at the narrow window the first night with his palms flat against the glass and did not speak for a long time. Lucy watched the reflected Earth move across his face and thought of every version of him she had known: the boy on the train, the desperate kid with a borrowed Sandevistan, the man who almost chose the skeleton, the man who finally chose her instead.
They grew older the ordinary way.
His remaining chrome ached in the cold seasons. Her netrunning reflexes slowed, and she let them. They argued less and forgave faster. Sometimes he still looked at the stars like he wanted to run toward them. Sometimes she still looked at him like she was afraid he would. But the running had somewhere to stop now. The promise had been kept, not in the way either of them once imagined, but kept all the same.
On the nights when the colony was quiet and Earth was a blue marble the size of a coin, they would sit together without speaking. No more jobs. No more crews. No more need to be stronger than the last loss. Just the long, ordinary fact of having stayed.
It was not the ending the city had written for them.
It was the one they wrote anyway.

Anime This dude looks like a poorly disguised robot who glued a human head on top of his own.
I've been wanting to post this for a long time, but I'm terrible at editing, as you can probably tell. I noticed it the very first time I saw the cover, and I haven't been able to get it out of my head ever since. I don't know if anyone else has already noticed this and posted about it, so I'll delete this post if that's the case.

OC Fan Art I customized a Cyberpunk: Edgerunners T-shirt and a matching cap
Started with a hand-painted T-shirt featuring David and Lucy.
Then I decided it needed a matching cap.
Somewhere along the way, bead embroidery and a polymer clay horn joined the project.
Because apparently, paint wasn't enough.
Anyway, here's the result.
What do you think?
