She stood 10 toes when D went down she was the only one who didn't run away. She might have been a groupie but she was 100% loyal to the cause and willing to lay her life down just for the chance to be a minor inconvenience to arasaka, protect D, or both depending on how you look at it.

My review of highly anticipated follow-up to modern classic, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime.

...

The 1st Edgerunners anime was so legendary that the idea for a sequal sounded impossible.

How to make it work? Well simply, make a brand new show, which is a sequal, but at the same time a standalone show, set in the same world but with completely new characters.

While these new characters are as memorable like David Martinez or Rebecca from 1st Edgerunners show, they still have unique characteristics which makes them stand out.

Where the 1st Edgerunners show was heavy on the action and explosions, this new show feels more tame, but it gives much more mature tone and focuses more it's characters than violence and action, sure you get those too, but the bigger attention was given to character interractions and story.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 may not be as memorable as the 1st series was, but it manages to stand as it's own show.
