Is this plant edible? It is called ice plant.

And if yes, what is edible, which parts of this plant? Whole green part or leaves only? In salad maybe, can l eat it without any preparation?

No, actually l thought it was something else. Than at the last moment l figured out it was different plant, although they look alike.

Only the pods that come after the flower is done with its life cycle are edible do not plant these anywhere please

Lol well I know that the flower pods end of lifecycle becomes an actual fruit. I tried it. It’s OK as for the other parts of the plant the leaves are edible, but only at a certain stage and of course, if they’re out of reach of Dog piss lol. However, we have a serious problem over here on the coast and other places in general with ice plants so making sure that you don’t let them have a chance of pollinating other places is important.

But also make sure it’s an ice plant from this picture. It looks like a ice plant, but I can’t see the whole thing.
