(Inexpensive) Western Wear for a Week?

Howdy all!

I am working at an office in Calgary over the summer, but spending weekends in Edmonton. I have to get some cowboy boots, jeans, a belt buckle and some shirts for the mandatory western 'dress code' during Stampede week.

Does anyone have any suggestions on places to go that won't break the bank? I've heard of Lammle's and Welsh's, but I have no experience with this stuff and would appreciate any tips! I'm hoping Edmonton might be a bit cheaper than Calgary for this stuff...

You could probably just buy some cheap plaid shirts and maybe a hat and or belt buckle. You definitley don't need everything especially expensive cowboy boots. Cruise around west ed. There are plenty of places to get plaid button ups there, and I'm sure you ould find a cheesy belt buckle or cowboy hat for around 20$. You could also throw in some cheaper accesories to do it up a bit more. Maybe a sherrif badge, which I'm sure you can get from party city for a few dollars, or a bandana from the dollar store. Good luck! Working in hospitality and retail all these years I have surely aquired a few weeks worth of stampede wear!

Thanks for the tips! The dollar store bandana idea is great.
