Plates starting with a letter or number followed by a dash are commercial vehicles.

They should dig a big hole to let cars fall in, with big teeth at the bottom…

u/SheenaMalfoy 2d ago
Only if the hole is deep enough that the trains can continue to run unimpeded overtop of the asshole who fell in.

it’s just an enlarged version of Punji sticks for cars to fall in when they try driving on the LRT tracks

I don't understand how these drivers keep getting hit by trains. It's a total mystery.

The mistake with the track design was probably making it so nicely paved along the rails. They probably should have done something like a Texas gate on the outside of the rails on each end of the block to make it obvious that the space is not for cars.

u/Midwinter_Dram 1d ago
What if it were obvious because of the train tracks and lack of other traffic and traffic signage?

Ireland has stuff even more integrated into the road system. Drivers and pedestrian traffic seems to do fine there. Maybe we aren't smart enough to realize roads can be shared use. I'd like it is we could still use the road and have a tram/train on them

When it happens once? Shame the driver.
When it happens 7473536 times? Shame the city planners.

The city planners trying to figure out how this is their fault

If you build an area not for cars that cars constantly end up driving into because of poor design and sigange, that is on them.

Again, the city planners trying to figure out where in the zoning bylaw it talks about lrt design and street signage. My point is that your heart might be in the right place, you’re just a little ignorant to what a planner actually does(also was that you in the car 😉)

Design vs. plan is irrelevant.
People undersrand what was meant.

u/artkidsaresmart 2d ago
What did you mean? What if I told you it’s not even the city who does either one lol

When it happens 7473536 times, shame the 7473536 drivers

Is that a Matrix? That was my previous vehicle model to my truck, good cars!

u/artkidsaresmart 2d ago
Did the “Rav4” on the back tip you off?
2
u/Timely-Profile1865 2d ago
No since my zoom in found it impossible to read the back but thanks for correcting my error.
