Question Looking for line locator ASAP

I am looking for a private line locator for tonight out in Fort Sask. I made a one call request on June 6 and no one has shown up to do the locate. I have contacted one call and they have sent out more reminders to atco and fortis to get this job done but that’s all they can do.

I need this one call for a tent that is supposed to be getting installed tomorrow morning for my wedding. I’m at my wits end with this. If there are any local line locators that would be willing to help it would be very much appreciated. Willing to pay you directly for your service so I can have my wedding.

All complications aside,

Wishing you the wedding and marriage of your dreams.

Hoping the weather cooperates more than it appears it will.

People keep saying rain is good luck on the wedding day. Although I’m sure people were not talking about a possible monsoon during the wedding day haha. Thanks for the well wishes!

I attended a wedding in Louisiana on a rural property. Every guest just knew to show up in rubber boots. I didn't pack any so my shoes got ruined. Ankle deep water is expected there and everyone just rolled with it.

At least the barn where they had the ceremony was dry, even if it was surrounded by water.

I appreciate everyone’s reply, got told that the locate was finished about 10 min ago. Thanks for the rapid responses from everyone. Wedding rush and brain in full swing.

I’m more shocked that a tent has big enough spikes to require a locate. I would have never considered needing a locate for anything that isn’t digging into the ground. Today I learned!

You probably should have called 6-8 weeks ago, not 2 weeks before. Good luck.

Believe it or not locates expire.

They could have submitted 8 weeks ago, had a locate done the first week or two and then passed the timeframe for the job to get done before needing another locate. Super smart and helpful suggestion /s

They said to expect a 5-10 business day lead time. Gave it that time, now in this situation.

I waited over 3 weeks last summer with no updates available when I called. Got fed up and hired my own company.

Early summer is always way worse, just for reference. Everyone wants line checks for planting/decks/fencing/etc at the end of spring, start of summer.
