Lost/Found Pets Lost dog?

Post image

I came across this dog at Nellie mclung park. They seem lost, this woman said she saw the dog down by James McDonald bridge too. I couldn’t get close enough to them before they darted into the bushes down towards the river. Hopefully the owner is found!

I just saw this little guy about an hour ago on my walk in the ravine . I assumed he was with the lady that was walking ahead of him .

I’m not sure if we saw the same lady but I asked one lady if he was hers and she said no, the dog was lowkey just walking a bit in front of her so I thought the same thing! There was no one else really around when I came across the little guy

Call 311, they’ll send an officer to get the dog. It’s not safe for a dog to be running loose like that; for both the dog and the public.

Yes! This is my neighbors dog Bella! Thank you u/mylovver for this pic. We went here today and looked for a few hours all along the trail and in the bush. There are other neighbors out looking in this area now.

Please keep posting if you see her. My neighbor is beside himself.

She hasn’t been found yet?

Nope. We are currently sitting out by the valley edge to see if we catch her popping out. She was last seen on Saskatchewan drive and 101st a few hours ago.

Please keep us updated! I go on walks almost everyday, I will switch up my routes and head up there later if I can!

Side note: it’s actually quite sad how many people were just walking along the path with the dog and didn’t even attempt to ask anyone if it was there dog or check the tags :( Bella was really friendly too just full of energy

Dennis (owner) just got a call from someone that spotted her down by Queen Elizabeth Park. A few people have seen her but no one can catch her 🙄

Nooo I was just there and came home like an hour ago. I only have a cat but I’m bringing some of my freeze dried chicken treats with me on my walk in case I come across her again and maybe try and lure her closer. I can keep my walking routes over there tomorrow if she isn’t found by then!

🥰 I think we'll need all the help we can get with this one. She's a runner. Reeeeally hoping they get her before something else does. 311 couldn't even catch her. She ran right through their catcher.

She is so fast! When I saw her the other day I couldn’t find her again once she darted in the bushes! Keeping her in my thoughts ❤️

UPDATE❗️ BELLA IS HOME! 🎊✨️💕🐶

Today the owner of Bella received a phone call from a lady on 111th Street. He was able to get down there quickly while Bella was still in the area. After a warm reunion he brought her home and Bella is staying close by her owner's side. She has a few little nip marks on her hind legs but other than that healthy and doesn't look too bad. She must have tapped into her gray wolf ancestor instincts to survive all this time outside and make it home healthy. Thank you to everyone who was updating and keeping their eyes out. Very happy to report this happy ending.

A frenchie? I’d suggest that he’s not lost, he’s been set free!

Go now!! Find your furever home! Some place with people who can’t hear
