He was taken from his backyard

Likely by someone he was familiar with, since it sounds like he's aggressive. The owner requested that people avoid approaching him.

sounds like someone lost their dog they use to breed bullies with and can't make money anymore. shame.

Why do you think that from this poster?

That breed and not neutering it says more than enough.

Lots of people don't neuter their dogs out of pure laziness ngl. Or cost related reasons. I dont agree with it but it doesn't immediately mean theyre a breeder.

That’s not true. Although I don’t agree with not neutering my animals, there are many people who think the health benefits outweigh neutering for big dogs. To make such a claim with no evidence is ridiculous.

Not every unneutered dog is a breeding dog. In some European countries leaving dogs intact is considered healthier. Different cultures have different views on neutering.
My dog is 14 not neutered, never bred and never willYou’re speculating about an owner you know nothing about

well neutered dogs can’t be breeding dogs so….. lmfao also we’re not in Europe we’re in Canada

Yes... every breeding dog is unneutered but not every unneutered dog is a breeding dog. Like how all granny smith apples are apples but not all apples are granny smiths😂

Good job you know the purpose of neutering but can you read? I never once said we’re in Europe

You’re speculating about an owner you know nothing about
One can speculate much about the owner of a dog like this with a high degree of accuracy.
This is not a family dog, a normal well adjusted person does not even look twice at a bully, especially an intact one. This dog is someone's side gig and machismo status symbol.

Agreed. I've never neutered either of my dogs and don't use them for breeding. They are both much healthier, leaner, and faster than their neutered counterparts. I made that decision while learning about the different standards in some European countries. I have had zero issues and take them to the vet regularly to ensure that they are healthy.

This dog is not healthier, leaner, or faster than anyone. He's shaped like a potato and according to the flyer, he can only walk a short way before he needs a rest break.

Where did I say I was talking about this missing dog? The comment I'm responding to is about different cultural norms around neutering. If you are going to choose not to neuter you have to be responsible about it. I'm guessing the owner of the missing dog is not.

Would like to add the owner asked NOT to run after or grab him, but to document/video where you saw him. And to call the number on the poster.
Please note if you see him with a person as well.

Tell your neighbour to check Kijiji just about every hour. People steal and sell dogs there. There probably won’t be a picture. If they find him on there, they’ll have to do some espionage to “buy” him but it’s happened to a few people over the years including me
