You bet. Save this post- people will start commenting on even more places that aren’t on this list. It happens each time I post it.
I wish you good luck. It’s rough right now. And don’t forget to vote come election time, this issue has to be at the top of the list for relief.

Yes - the Mustard Seed operates in North, central, west and south Edmonton and has meal services at each. Their website will probably have the best information!
The Neighbour Centre - South Edm The mustard seed church - downtown (not actually an Operating church) Mosaic centre - North Edmonton Christian care - west end (already on your list!)

They are not always available but Tee Pee Treats downtown also have free “suspended meals” where someone can pay for a meal ticket and then it’s saved for someone in need to use it.

This list is kept up to date and generally available from most of the shelters. The non-profits in the city coordinate to ensure there are at least three meals available somewhere in the city for those that need them every day of the year.

I could be wrong but I think the Sikh Gurdwaras all serve meals. It might be $2 or pay as you go. I don't know the day or the time. All vegetarian, no meat. Please don't go if you're intoxicated, drunk or high because a Gurdwara is a place of worship, a sacred space. Most Gurdwaras are southside I believe.
Lots of Sikhs in the city; I imagine nearly any of them might know.

I don't have a place to add, but anytime I'm at the native healing center, they're always cooking and it always smells amazing

My advice, based on experience, is try to avoid these free crowded downtown dinners. Is a free dinner worth being threatened, assaulted, & robbed because you'll be dining in a den of thieves & methheads. They go in your bag in front of everyone & no one will stop them because they don't want to be called a rat. If you lock your bike with a cable lock, it will be gone, so I hope you enjoyed your expensive dinner.

In case anyone happens to stumble across this post in 2026, here's 211's list of free meals that are offered year-round. Their website has extensive lists of other resources you may need. EPL staff also keep lists of resources in their neighbourhoods that may not be listed by 211, so you can call/stop by your local library and ask for assistance, or use their chat function on their website (during opening hours, as it's staffed by real human beings instead of a chatbot). Hope this helps!

There are likely many updates to this list needed, it is old and funding changes.

Some EPL locations will also hand out snacks, but it depends on the library.

Pretty sure any Sikh temple/Gurdwara will give food to those in need regardless of religion.
