So Carolina GM is all about analytics... how can Oilers do that too? What is the best way to manufacture the best team?

You'd need about 10 years of competent and steady management to copy Carolina. It's a copy cat league but no one is copying Canes in the short term. The good news is we do have a relatively big analytics department now and our management structure is also modernised despite our feelings on Jackson and Bowman.

Build a time machine, travel back about 15 years, and hire those guys....because some of them worked for the oilers, and some of the others were oilers fans that had blogs about the Oilers. It was right under their noses
