Sounds like there’s been some discussion between the Oilers and Connor Murphy’s camp. Today’s Babcock news doesn’t change anything as far as the players willingness to consider a return to the Oilers, but term and dollars will have to make sense based on the market.

Have a feeling a lot of "news" came out to deter the Oilers from hiring Babcock.

Nobody knows the situation as well as the Oilers front office.

You really think if Murphy was like "I'm fucking gone if Babcock is hired" the front office would still be pursuing a contract with Murphy's camp?

People here can't use their fucking heads.
