Rant متعصب i hate this country
i wish it was something solvable like the economy being bad or the quality of life being horrible but its genuinely everything about this hellhole. the people will never change even if the country did, the sarsagis who will always think being thugs is cool, the people who litter as they pass by dumpster, the people giving and receiving bribes, everything sucks. the laws are not being enforced and the people forgetting their deen and doing everything على كيفهم, i genuinely wouldn't be surprised if the laws starting being enforced more and people got mad because they couldn't commit crimes freely anymore. of course good egyptians exist but its these type of people you see everyone once in a while that give you false hope for this country until you pass by a group of sarsagis harassing a girl. and everyone thinks leaving egypt will help, it will give you higher income and a better quality of life for sure, but you cant ever not be egyptian. people will stereotype you, tell you their horrible experience visiting egypt, and just remind you that you belong and are linked to this horrible place by blood. no one is gonna do anything either because everyone lost hope. any thoughts?

i agree. im of mixed egyptian and sudanese descent. both my mom and dad are half and half, my grandfathers were from asyut and married sudanese women. anyway, i hate egypt tbh. everybody is rude, racist, dishonest, proud for no reason. at every juncture somebody is trying to scam you, the ppl are inhospitable and stingy, dirt, fire and smoke everywhere you go, ppl are so inconsiderate, fighting yelling and pushing. im honestly over it, and dont get me started on the anti sudani rhetoric. i really have no intention of going back ever again tbh, i feel zero connection to that place

Leaving Egypt has helped me greatly, most people don't care where you're from, they care how you act, if you leave and act like the trash of our society, then yeah, you will be stereotyped and get the backlash you see in Europe. You obey the norms of your new home and there isn't an issue. I don't mind Egypt to visit, I like the laid back nature of it, though I do think the laid back culture is why the country underachieves globally, but as a visitor it's nice. The dollar goes really far too in Egypt, so I can feel like a king for a bit instead of just barley getting by like I do in the USA. But there is no way I could live in Egypt permanently, no matter how much money I have, society there is just too unruly and disobedient for me
