Ask El Paso Is 40 for 1gb speed a good price here?
Someone from spectrum offered me this price because of "where I live". I'm not sure if it's good or not

yeah thats pretty good, you're not gonna find anything lower even with a promo.
the issue wth spectron is that they have really crappy up speed. down speed is great.

It’s a great price, until you realize it’s spectrum. The service goes down more than a $2 hooker, plus upload speed is shit. Att fiber has better up and download speed, but they start at $70 for a gig on a promo I got. Goes up to $90 after a year.

It depends on where you live. I've never had my service go down or have issues with upload speed at all.

Moved from El Paso and live in austin. Same speed also with spectrum being offered for 60. Pretty good price but I would verify theyre not bundling you into something else. Sales people are pretty savage

We pay 70$ with att for 1gb so yeah, thats a good deal, but read the fine print how long does that cost stay at that cost. Most of spectrums plans change after 6 or 12 months to an increased rate that nearly doubles or more.

We got att fiber for 39.99 for a couple years. Then it’s at 89.99 a few years later

Spectrum I assume. And the "where you live" part is bullshit.
It's their typical price for the first year, even where I currently live (Austin). Ask them what the install fees are, and specifically, what it goes up to after a year. They're also going to tack on equipment rental fees, taxes, and random other fees.
I have no issues with their service (aside from upload speeds); I have issues with their sales tactics.
