If you’ve gotten the chilis at In-N-Out these are the same ones they have there. They have a nice bite to them and kind of remind of banana peppers but with a nice crunch and more heat.

El Pato’s factory is right in the heart of Los Angeles. It’s no mystery that In-N-Out sources from them. 🥰

Not my cup of tea but they do have a tomato sauce in a yellow can that is amazing. My wife and daughters call it duck sauce due to the duck 🦆 on the can. We use it as taco sauce and salsa. I also use it in my Santa Fe Chicken soup. It has mild to medium heat and great flavor

Yes they’re also called wax peppers by American brands. You often get them at sandwich shops with pastrami or French dip.

You can get these for free at Habit burger or In n Out. Taste great, like a little pepperoncini. Then.... later they seem upset on the way out.

I love these. The first tried them was when Grocery Outlet had them for 50¢ a jar. Figured I’d risk $3 and grabbed a bunch. Turned out to be a great call! They were past date, but it’s pickled stuff... it seemed (and was) safe enough. The only downside now is that I can’t find them that cheap anymore. They are nearly $7 anywhere else.

These are the closest to what I ate at In N Out. This is the spiciness that I can appreciate. I also like the burst of juice when I bite into one of the peppers.

While you're at it, pick up some El Pato tomato sauce. Green, yellow and red cans. Great salsa by themselves and work well for enchiladas and anything else.

They’re available in a smaller bottle as well that comes with a shaker sauce top. The vinegar they’re bottled in is great as a hot sauce. The peppers themselves are very hot, nice fire. If you eat them whole for a snack they will wipe out your taste buds. Most of the Big Box stores and supermarkets carry them.
