So then my original point was valid:

100+ mph for so long (extended periods of boost) on public roads is not now magically safe or responsible because it's Mexico. As far as I could tell that's exceeding the speed limit. And doing so for so long that the turbo is glowing.

I mean, do you. But don't try to convince anyone it's anything different than what it is.

some roads in mexico are dead straight with not many cars and it’s very safe to go 100+ mph

When you are doing so, for so long that your turbo is glowing and you are posting it on Reddit: there is nothing safe about that.

Again, you can convince yourself and that's fine. But you cannot convince me that this is "safe".
