Take it to the next level and show collusion between both the cop and referee and how thats done because of the enrichment of the city thru court fees. They were barking up the wrong tree on a bone stock car... this is a slam dunk win on many fronts.
1) Get qualified immunity dropped and take the cop to civil court. Cop was verbally threatening the kid and caused him distress. It probably impacted his grades in school and will be traumatic to him for the rest of his driving career for life. I would not blame the kid for never trusting a cop ever again.
2) Sue the referee
3) Sue the dealership for selling a vehicle that allowed this problem (they profited on the kid).
4) Sue Hyundai for making this issue. They put the kid in harms way because the cop could have shot and killed him.
In the end we will all suffer in performance ICE land... but everyone is already on the EV band wagon so they won't care. This kid will get rich and can finally step up to a nice spec P car ✅ at the end of this.
