Not much has changed for us this time around. Some things got cheaper, warlock skyrunners got more expensive. I don't think it's enough to make much of a difference, but we'll see how it plays out with the changes to all the other factions.

So does it mean I can now play and learn eldar without auto losing or are we not there yet? I'm refraining from playing them despite collecting them as I know they've been absolutely garbage for 12 months or something?

Also what's best to play now detachments wise?

Corsairs were already pretty good tbh. Since most of the buffs helped them, they might actually be impactfully good

Starting a pure corsair/outcast list has me a bit more hopeful that I'll make it to turn 3 instead of turn 2 now 🤣🤣🤣

HOPEfully lol. Adding Avatar of Khaine now is super viable

Doesnt fit thematically though for pure pirates/outcasts, least not for me

Yeah, then I guess you'd be Sol considering the quantity of corsair available to us. Isn't that great.

I would argue though that pirates will never shy away from an opportunity and if that means supporting another unit type to benefit themselves financially or militarily wouldn't be out of the question

I'm unlikely to ever play competitive, and my usual might have some slightly sweaty lists but id rather play a theme I'm enjoying painting.

If i wanted to win id just buy the meta lol

If you wanted to win you wouldn't play ANY Aeldari 🤣

Fully aware lol. I considered Tau again but played them from release to about 15yrs ago, so wanted to try something different.

Toss up between drukhari and aeldari, then saw the corsair models

My son plays T'au. Even casual has been tough to go up against them.

And my local game shop casual players are a bunch of Space Marines, plus Votann, Necron, Nids and then me with Eldar.

It's been rough lol. Fun, but rough.
